GreenFields® MX 3D woven pitch selected by Alloa Athletic FC

Alloa, United Kingdom, 28 April 2016 – GreenFields UK Ltd, the innovative market leader in synthetic turf systems, and specialist sports pitch constructor Allsports Construction and Maintenance Ltd have continued their strategic partnership by providing Alloa Athletic FC (Alloa, UK) with the ‘Choice of Champions’ state-of-the-art FIFA accredited 3G and 3D woven artificial turf pitch named GreenFields® MX. Alloa Athletic FC who have been extremely happy with their previous GreenFields surface, have decided to use another advanced GreenFields sports product for their new development.

Natural player experience
Alloa Athletic FC have selected the high-tech GreenFields® MX Trimension product, which offers a playing surface that is fully inspired by nature and on which players will feel ‘at home’ due to the natural look and feel. The patented weave technology results in an extremely high tuft bind resulting in clumps of fibres retaining their vertical memory. This synthetic turf system has a longlasting performance providing a player experience like that of natural grass with excellent ball roll, ball bounce, grip, traction and shock absorption. Previous installations of GreenFields® MX into professional stadiums and first team training grounds include the United Kingdom Arsenal FC Training Ground, Falkirk FC Stadium, Charlton Athletic FC Training Ground- Sparrows Lane Academy and the National Sports Performance Centre at Heriot-Watt University.

Work is due to start at Alloa Athletic FC at the beginning of May 2016 to be complete in early June 2016.
