Early in February, Purchase Green Dallas manager Gordon received an inquiry from a project manager who wanted a quote for one of his residential projects: a residential putting green. The two met on the property and discussed the project details, and Gordon provided a concrete estimate on the spot. Relieved, the project manager explained to Gordon that he had used a different artificial grass company for prior installations in the same area. Upon being hired for the putting green project, he had returned to the same company for an estimate but was shocked to receive a dramatically inflated price.

Realizing that this was likely an attempt to take advantage of the project property’s high value, he decided to break from his old turf supplier and request shop around. It was then that he stumbled across Purchase Green of Dallas, and he was impressed.

“I was very straight-forward in talking about the project with him,” says Gordon. “We had the green light on the project about a week later,” an unusually brief turnaround!

Now that the project is complete, the property owner is so impressed that he’s already drawn up plans for two more greens on the property!
