Local school receives LazyLawn® installation in memory of student

Pupils from Elworth C of E Primary School in Sandbach can now enjoy a new artificial grass outdoor running track thanks to LazyLawn^®, in memory of student Oliver Wilmot.

The ‘Oliver Wilmot Memorial Fund’ was set up by the family of five year old Oliver Wilmot who attended the school and suddenly passed away of ‘Overwhelming Sepsis’ in November last year.

The fund was created to raise money to help improve the school’s outdoor sports facilities with an artificial grass running track, in memory of Oliver, who loved to run.

LazyLawn^®, the UK’s leading supplier of artificial grass installed the bespoke eight-lane track for free, using Lazy Adore, alternating Oliver’s favourite colour, orange, with green.

The installation, totalling to 500sqm, took four days to complete and combined the eight-lane track with a surrounding Lazy Adore border.
With a low friction finish, this all-weather running track is hardwearing and durable, providing a softer surface for the children that will withstand plenty of trampling.
