USA-Based Synthetic Turf Maker Adds Industry Veteran to its Team

Tom Burlingame heads Act Global’s latest expansion into the Northwestern US.

Austin, TX- Today, Act Global announces the addition of Regional Manager Tom Burlingame to extend the company’s footprint to the Pacific Northwest and Mountain State regions.

Act Global’s expansion is part of an initiative to refocus sports fields back to the needs of players on a large scale. As the American manufacturer continues to grow, it was essential to select a representative for the area that could attend to the increasing demand for synthetic turf fields.

“Tom was an ideal candidate for Act Global,” comments Act Global Vice President John Burke. “His enthusiasm to work with people and deliver products tailored to athletes in unwavering.”

Burlingame boasts an impressive 10-year history within the construction industry- including several years with synthetic turf- that has equipped him with insights into building sports fields. “Joining Act Global is an extremely exciting opportunity,” says Burlingame. “The company is truly driven by its values of player safety, and I’m honored to be a part of a team that is ushering in a new era of sports fields. Act Global is challenging the status quo of the synthetic turf industry and forcing athletes to be considered the top stakeholder.”
