Last week BGS held their official opening of their new synthetic turf pitch manufactured by Act Global.  The men’s rugby team celebrated the opening with a scrimmage and mini-tournament to break in the new turf.  Verde Recreo Ltd. designed and built the new field to meet both World Rugby Reg 22 and FIFA accreditation requirements.  The 3G artificial grass field is an elite surface that is specifically engineered for intense and high impact play to keep the BGS rugby athletes safe.  Due to the nature of rugby as a multi-season sport, Act Global’s high-quality synthetic grass is a perfect surface solution to withstand all weather and climatic conditions so that the team can play more hours a week and more days out of the year.
