LazyLawn® rolls out new sport activity areas for Warrington school

Pupils at Oakwood Avenue Primary School in Warrington can now enjoy sports outside all year round thanks to LazyLawn^®, after the brand -leading of artificial grass specialist transformed an old tarmacked space into four soft green activity areas.

LazyLawn^® Liverpool, Warrington and Chester installed 800 square meters of its award winning Wonder Yarn 26mm product, creating three football pitches for the students to enjoy as well as a new ‘trim trail’ area.

A foam underlay was installed on top of the original tarmacked surface to ensure a drainage system was in place, as well as allowing a layer of support for any sudden movements or falls.

As well as the sports areas, LazyLawn^® installed 160 square meters of its Which? Best Buy Wonder Yarn around a ‘trim trail’ at the school.

Each outdoor area provides the children with a wonderful all-weather surface to enjoy year round, leaving no chance of muddy footprints and no mess, creating the perfect outdoor solution to withstand lots of trampling.

Joanne Reilly, Deputy Headteacher at Oakwood Avenue Primary School said: “We are so pleased with our new LazyLawn^® and the children love it.

“Previously the courts were used for football only, however now the children can use the area for many more activities.
