Xtreme Turf DX60 Successfully Installed at Kamuzu Stadium, Malawi

Famous football stadium replaces its existing,ten-year-old Act Global artificial turf field with the world renowned Xtreme Turf DX60 football turf system.

The original turf was installed by Act Global in 2008 as part of the FIFA GOAL Programme and has been used for national and international competition matches, including World Cup qualifiers. The stadium is currently home to the Nyasa Big Bullets, a top Malawian football club. When the decision was made to replace and upgrade the existing football turf surface, the durability and performance of the original turf, the proven track record of Xtreme Turf DX60 and the fact that Act Global has succeeded in delivering FIFA Certified fields in Malawi (FIFA Technical Centre Blantyre, FIFA Certified 2015), and in neighboring Tanzania at the Karume Memorial Stadium in Mwanza (FIFA Certified March 2017) were all key factors in the selection process

The field was completed on 28^th June 2018 and will be field tested to FIFA Quality Pro standard in September 2018.
