Spills from food and drink (yes, that includes wine!) as well as water-based paints, glue, and even dog mess can all be mopped up with a cloth, rinsed away with water, or scrubbed away with a combination of soap and lukewarm water.

More stubborn spills such as sun lotion, melted crayons, lipstick, and/or ink can be removed using a small amount of white spirit on a clean cloth. Do make sure to test a small patch of your artificial grass before using white spirit to tend to a stain and, remember, white spirit is highly flammable so make sure you rinse it away when you’re all cleaned up.
