The Best Advantages of Artificial Grass

Laying artificial grass has several benefits, especially if you install it around your swimming pool. For a start, you do not have to mow it, so there are no awkward corners and edges to squeeze into with that mower. And if you have real grass, there are always those edges that have to be done separately if you want it to look really neat and trim.

You may not mind doing this, but the fact is that you will mostly end up with at least some of it falling into the pool and then you have to turn around and clean the pool or risk the filters clogging up. Then there is the problem of what to do with all that fast-growing grass when you go on holidays. Of course you can get someone to mow it for you, but this costs extra. When you have artificial grass there is no need to worry. It will look just as good when you come home as it did before you left. And if there was a heat wave and no rain while you were away, artificial grass will still look green and lush.

You do not need to water artificial grass, or fertilise it to ensure it remains healthy. There are no problems with brown patches that will look unsightly – and no doubt, pop up just the day before your pool party is scheduled. Artificial grass provides an attractive surface for the kids to play on. It is soft enough to break any falls – much better than tiles or concrete would be. It will not get tramped down to reveal a muddy underlay that splashes up on little legs either, like real grass does.

Having artificial grass means that there is no problem with bits and pieces falling or blowing into the pool water, making pool maintenance much easier. And the time you spend maintaining your pool surroundings can be much better spent actually enjoying your pool instead.
